WHAT IS CREATIVE STORES?
Creative Stores is an advertising/marketplace website of independent artists and crafts people selling their gifts, handmade/handcrafted, edible, green and Eco friendly products. Also suppliers to the craft trade and gift sellers.
WHO CAN SELL ON CREATIVE STORES?
Anyone who makes handmade/handcrafted products and suppliers to these trades. We encourage people from all over the world to join and also gift sellers. We do consider anything as long as it is not mass produced.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS?
Yes
DO I HAVE TO BE LOGGED IN TO PURCHASE AN ITEM?
Yes you will need to be registered to buy a product on this site (this is a different account to store owner accounts) We have a customer account and a provider account which are totally separate. You can contact each store direct if you have any questions about their products.
Store owners will have a PayPal account so payment can be very easy and direct with each store owner.
HOW DO I PURCHASE FROM A STORE OWNER?
You will be able to add products to your cart and pay directly to each Store Owner via PayPal or their other designated methods of payment.
If you decide to pay by cheque (within the UK) you will need to ask the store holder for details of their address etc. They can then tell you how much the shipping will be and add this for you.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
You can sign up from the JOIN UP button or Register to advertise your products.
WHAT ARE THE FEES?
We do not charge any set up fees, listing fees or commission fees. There is one monthly fee (which you can cancel at anytime, giving on months' notice of £1.00 for up to 5 items, £2.50 for up to 50 items and £5.00 for an unlimited size store). This allows you space to advertise all your items you wish to sell all over the world. You can also put links to any other stores/websites you have.
Sometimes the email we need to activate your account is blocked by your email provider or sent into a spam folder this does happen sometimes with Hotmail and Live accounts. Please add www.creativestores.co.uk to your trusted e-mail senders list
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT?
Yes, this is how we accept your monthly subscription payment.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I REGISTER?
You will get a confirmation e-mail with your Username and Password attached. You will also get a link of instructions for setting up a store if you wish to. Our administrator will set up your entire store including banners, payment details etc., and inform you by e-mail that your store is NOW OPEN. This will usually be within 24 hours of registering with us.
WHAT IF I DO NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION?
Try checking your spam or bulk folder. If you still cannot find it contact Creative Stores Admin.

CAN I CHANGE MY SHOP NAME OR USERNAME?
No you will need to think hard about your user name/shopname. Your user name will appear as your store name.

DO YOU HAVE SET UP INSTRUCTIONS?
Yes you can e-mail us for the instructions or download them direct from the website.
WILL I HAVE MY OWN URL FOR ME TO PERSONALLY SEND CUSTOMERS TO?

CAN I ADD MY PERSONAL WEBSITE TO MY CREATIVE STORES STORE?
Yes, you can link your store to your own website if you wish or to your social networking site e.g. Facebook, Twitter etc. If you put the URL of your website in your store details customers can link direct to your website.
HOW MANY PRODUCTS CAN I LIST IN MY STORE?
The subscription that you choose will show you how many items you can add to your online store.
CAN I SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE THAN ONE SHOP?
Yes
WHEN I SELL SOMETHING, HOW AM I NOTIFIED?
If you sell an item on the site, you will be sent a confirmation of sale e-mail.
DIFFERENT WAYS TO SHOP?
CATEGORIES
You can see the site’s main categories from the left menu on the home page. These are then made up of subcategories. If there is a category that you would like adding for selling purposes, just e-mail me and I will add this for you. If you know the store name you can click on OUR SELLERS on the home page too.
HOME PAGE
Creative Stores will randomly pick out different sorts of items from many different stores to feature on the front page. This will draw more attention to your items and gives everyone a greater chance of exposing their store/website.
FEATURED STORE
Anyone can be the featured store. If you wish to be on the homepage, I have a questionnaire which I can e-mail to you. This is a list of questions (nothing personal) so that customers can know a little bit more about you.
BLOG
NING NETWORK
My Ning Network is a place where likeminded crafters and artists from around the globe can add all their photos or chat with other people. It is a great way for me to keep in touch and make the site a lot more personal for all my store owners.
FLICKR
We also add images of products from the website to Flickr.
